Having clients entrust me with the sale of their home is an honor. 926 Huntington Cove was a rewarding challenge. The property was stunning, but unfortunately had fallen victim to flooding as a result of the release of water after Hurricane Harvey from the Barker and Addicks reservoirs (article). Accordingly interest in the property was less than what it otherwise would have been. The sellers were determined to get top dollar though, and I was determined to deliver that.
I personally selected contractors and oversaw the completion of select repairs on the property. We had countless e-mail blasts and open houses to get the property on as many people’s radar as possible. We stood firm and eventually closed on an offer that the client was looking for.
I am proud of this sale because it was hard. I aggressively marketed the entire time this property was on the market. Showings were relatively few, so I made sure to visit the property and make sure it was in top shape before almost all of them.
I will sell your home as if it were my own. Repairs, updates and price drops often make sense to attract buyers, but at the end of the day it is your house and your decision, and I will do what it takes to achieve your desired result.
